Drafting Begins on the Guidelines for Disability Inclusion and Digital Sports!
After the first online meeting with the partners, we have started working on the core of the project: understanding how to make esports more accessible and inclusive for young people with disabilities.
At this stage, we are collecting experiences, questions, and good practices from different contexts — Iceland, Finland, and Italy — in order to develop guidelines over the coming months that are genuinely usable, not only by esports trainers, but also by youth workers and social practitioners.
The project is still at an early stage, but its starting point is very concrete: if esports can be spaces for social connection, participation, and competition, then they should be accessible to as many people as possible.
