An informational meeting on Erasmus+ projects and networking
The meeting organized by the Erasmus+ National Agency took place on December 11 in Rome, at INAPP, and was conceived as a moment of orientation and exchange for organizations involved in Erasmus+ projects, in our case Small-Scale partnerships.
For us at Close in the Distance, this was an important step. We presented Reading it the (Right) Way!, our project approved by INAPP and just recently launched, outlining its objectives and direction: to make reading and book-related spaces more accessible to neurodivergent adults, while at the same time working on the training of small independent booksellers and cultural practitioners, and on strengthening independent bookshops as cultural and social hubs.
Beyond the more practical aspects related to managing an Erasmus+ project, one of the most valuable elements of the meeting was networking: listening to experiences very different from our own, crossing paths, and sharing doubts and good practices. For an associative organization like Close in the Distance, these moments of exchange remain fundamental.
We would like to thank the Erasmus+ National Agency and INAPP for the organization and for creating a space for dialogue, as well as everyone who stopped to ask us more about the project.
